The role of the Group Tutor
The group tutor is the 'first point of contact' for both students and parents. Tutors are there to support and guide students, but also to ensure that school rules are adhered to.
Individual group tutors are given the freedom to deliver their schemes of work in any order using their professional judgement. Weekly tutorial schedules/records are located in tutor rooms.
Group tutors receive the full support of the Year Tutor and the Senior Leadership Team.
