The Year 9 Tutor Program covers the following topics

Learning to Learn:
Students are advised on how to use search engines effectively and are given opportunities and guidance on how to put this into practice. All students are encouraged to use online revision sites.
Rights and Responsibilities:
Students are given information of the current rights and responsibilities for their age group, building on the work done in year 7.
Countries and Identities:
Pupils look at the UK as a multicultural society and our place in the modern world.
What is Revision?
Students are introduced to different ways to revise and encourage them to identify which method works for them.
Year 12 Support:
Y12 are taking the students on a virtual journey around the world, with ‘passports’ to show which country they have ‘visited’. In time, they will choose one country to look at in detail. The Y12 students will also be encouraged to share their ideas on revision techniques.
