Welcome to the Year 8

Year 8 is a vital year for students. The curriculum is geared towards creating good learning and behaviour habits that will prepare students for the challenges of GCSE courses. Students are also given outstanding pastoral care relating to every aspect of school life.

The Year 8 Tutor Program covers the following topics

Learning to Learn:
Students are given simple learning tips to help them achieve their potential. Students are supported in this regard by 6th Form mentors every Monday and Friday.

Crime & the Law:
Students are given a brief introduction to the Law and how it may relate to their lives.

The Media:
Students are introduced to the various forms of the media and how the media can influence the lives of people.
